Whenever we put a new essential collection there is always a heated debate in the office to how we define something as 'essential'. Put simply, the dictionary defines the word essential as something that is 'basic and fundamental' and 'absolutely necessary'; and this is how we feel about the titles in our Essential Comedy collection, here are 100 films old and new that really shouldn't be missed.
