Hollywood has spoken and as the pundits predicted... two royals reigned over them all.

It came as no surprise to us that Dame Helen Mirren and Forest Whitaker won Oscars® for their remarkable performances in The Queen and The Last King of Scotland but even we were surprised that the very deserving Martin Scorsese was finally recognised by the Academy for his latest film 'The Departed'. A brilliant filmmaker, responsible for classic movies including Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Gangs of New York; this was the eighth time that Scorsese had been nominated.
